TREFFEN TOTAL sucht in verschiedenen öffentlichen Formaten immer wieder den Austausch mit Zuschauer*innen, Passant*innen und Interessierten. Die TREFFEN TOTAL MAP eine digitale, interaktive Hamburg-Karte – bietet über den gesamten Zeitraum die Möglichkeit, sich kurzfristig über die Orte und Zeiten zu informieren und Dokumentationsmaterial zu verfolgen.

Wie kann eine tägliche Körperpraxis aussehen? Mit dem morgendlichen TRAINING TOTAL beginnt jeder Tag des Treffens: Performanceschaffende und -interessierte sind hier eingeladen, gemeinsam mit den Künstler*innen verschiedene Trainingsmethoden, Körpertechniken und künstlerische Methoden im Tanzstudio auf K3 oder im Stadtraum zu erproben. Jedes Training wird von einer*m anderen Künstler*in des Projektes vorbereitet und angeleitet. Diverse Ansätze und Impulse werden erfahrbar – ob zeitgenössischer Tanz, Qigong, Yoga, Gesang oder Joggen. Tanz- und Körpertraining treffen auf Stimme, Texte, flashmobartige Gruppenrituale, Exploration von Orten, choreografische oder improvisatorische Praxis im öffentlichen Raum.
Der Fokus des maximal 90minütigen TRAINING TOTAL liegt auf der Frage, aus welcher künstlerischen Motivation heraus ein Training entsteht und wie dieses sich im Stadtraum verorten kann. Wie bedingen sich Ort, künstlerische Intention und Training gegenseitig?

TRAVELLING HOURS
Während TREFFEN TOTAL finden vier TRAVELING HOURS im öffentlichen Raum statt. Bei diesen gemeinsamen Ausflügen arbeiten alle 25 Künstler*innen außerhalb des Theaters an einem ausgewählten, (un)touristischen Ort oder auf einer Route durch die Stadt, die online in einem interaktiven Stadtplan angekündigt wird. Die TRAVELLING HOURS sind aber keine Aufführungen im herkömmlichen Sinne, sondern geöffnete künstlerische Forschungs- und Arbeitszeit. Passant*innen und Zuschauer*innen sind eingeladen, die Entwicklung der künstlerischen Materialien und Fragestellungen im Dialog mit verschiedenen Orten der Stadt mitzuerleben. Von Mal zu Mal werden die Künstler*innen Formate aus ihrem Arbeitsprozess heraus entwickeln: Mal suchen sie das Gespräch, mal stellen sie eine ganz konkrete Frage, mal laden sie zum Spaziergang durch die Stadt ein, mal zeigen sie szenisches Material, das sie im öffentlichen Raum weiterentwickeln wollen. Mit den TRAVELLING HOURS werden öffentliche Orte als Gruppe künstlerisch erobert, bespielt, beobachtet, bewohnt.

DAS FEST

Auf K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg und im öffentlichen Raum
Zum Abschluss von TREFFEN TOTAL laden die 25 Künstler*innen zu einem dreitätigen FEST ein. Ausgehend von ihrem zentralen Arbeitsort K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg auf Kampnagel finden tagsüber und bis in die Nacht Präsentations- und Austauschformate im Studio und auf der Bühne, aber auch im öffentlichen Raum statt.
Vier Wochen lang haben sich die Künstler*Innen einem kollaborativen Arbeitsprozess gewidmet und dabei Mechanismen und Strategien des Tourismus befragt. Jetzt sind Publikum und Kolleg*innen eingeladen, während der drei Tage Trainings, Workshops und Performances zu besuchen und die Experimente und Resultate des vierwöchigen kollaborativen Arbeitsprozesses in ihren vielfältigen Formen mitzuerleben. DAS FEST lässt Revue passieren und skizziert Zukunftsvisionen. Es gibt Raum und Zeit für Ausflüge und Ortswechsel, für den Austausch zwischen Publikum und Künstler*innen, für gemeinsames Essen, Trinken, Feiern und Tanzen.

TREFFEN TOTAL offers various encounters between artists, spectators, visitors, passer-bys and interested audience members. The TREFFEN TOTAL MAP – a digital interactive map of Hamburg – provides an opportunity to get informed about places and dates and to follow up on documentation.

What does a daily practice look like? We will set off everyday with the TRAINING TOTAL in the morning: performers and interested audience members are invited to join an array of training techniques, body practices and artistic methods, conducted by the artists of TREFFEN TOTAL at the K3 dance studio or in public spaces. Each training is prepared and led by a different artist. A diversity of approaches and impulses can be experienced, ranging from contemporary dance, Qigong, yoga, and vocal work or running. Dance- and body practices meet voice work, text, flashmob-like group rituals, the exploration of altering places, as well as choreographed and improvised movement in public spaces.
TRAINING TOTAL focuses on the question of how artistic practice can translate into a training located within an urban space. How do space, artistic intention and training influence each other?

TRAVELLING HOURS
Four TRAVELLING HOURS will be conducted in public spaces in the course of TREFFEN TOTAL. During these joint excursions, all 25 artists will work at designated (non-) touristic spots or will choose a route through the city. These TRAVELLING HOURS will be announced online on our interactive city map. The TRAVELLING HOURS will take place during working hours and are open to the public. They are not performances in the classic sense, but are intended for experimentation. Spectators are invited to witness a process that creates materials and asks questions in response to different locations within the city. Taking this as a point of departure, the artists will, from time to time, develop formats : they might ask a specific question, invite people to join on a walk through a neighbourhood, or show scenic material to be further developed in the public space. The group of artists and those who join them will use the TRAVELLING HOURS to conquer, play with, look at and live in public spaces.

At K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg and in public spaces
For the finale of TREFFEN TOTAL the 25 artists invite you to join our three-day celebration (FEST). Centred around the K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg at Kampnagel, presentations and exchange formats will take place during the day and in the evenings in the studios, on stage as well as in public spaces.
The artists have delved into collaborative working processes for four weeks, questioning mechanisms and strategies surrounding the topic of „tourism“. Now, colleagues and spectators are invited to join them for three days of training, workshops and performances, to experience the experiments and results of the four-week collaborative working process. The FEST (celebration) reviews our process but also outlines visions for the future. There is space and time for excursions, location changes, conversations between artists and visitors, time to eat, drink, celebrate and dance.
